The Hottest Spot on the Beach

This past weekend was my BFF's b-day so we had to go all out for the special occasion! After some deliberation by the group, we decided we wanted to try out the new spot Louis @ Gansevoort South. We had a solid game plan: predrinks at my place, get to Louis before 11:30pm. It's really the only way of going out to a SoBe hot spot and making sure your entire group gets in without any problems (our girl-guy ratio was also favorable). We cabbed it ($17 from Quantum to the beach) and got in without any problems... we may have been the first ones there, but by 1am, there were so many people it was a good thing we had already gotten our drinks and staked out our own little area. The place is beautiful inside with a "palace" theme and the crowd is as good as it gets.

PLUS SIDE: amazing music (R&B, Hip Hop, Dance, 80s, Michael Jackson obvi) NEGATIVE SIDE: $17 drinks (It's the beach after all).
