Night full of Sexy Bloggers, Manis & Cool Cars!

One of my favorite things about my job is that from time to time I get to come up with some fun ideas and actually implement them! (Can many of us say that?) For my client, Chevrolet, I need to come up with creative ways of getting people into cars… sounds easy enough but believe me it takes planning, timing and lots of brainstorming.

Some of you may have heard about the Chevy Pizza Crawl (and if you haven’t CLICK HERE for more fun details) and perhaps Chevy ROAR (CLICK HERE). But for the month of May I figured I wanted to do something out of the ordinary for my blogger ladies in South Florida and gather them to watch the premiere of SATC2! I mean, this is something I’d want to do anyway so why not get some of the most chic bloggers in town to watch the movie together?! Sure Juan was a little upset, I mean who else has a boyf who would go with you to the midnight showing of SATC premiere just so you can say you were one of the first to see it? Not many. But all in the name of blogging and work, he was fine staying home watching the basketball game on TV.

So the idea was to treat the girls to a VIP experience at Rik Rak Salon, Boutique & Bar (manicures and blow outs included) before being whisked away in chauffeured Chevy Tahoes and a Traverse to Lincoln Rd. for the premiere of Sex and The City 2! Not only was I amazed by the top-notch service Rik Rak provided the ladies, I was in love with the salon's clothes and accessories on sale. Let's not forget the food from their bar which was delicioso – I swear if I wasn’t working the event, I would’ve been shopping up a storm! Needless to say being driven anywhere feels nice and very VIP.

The best part of the event (for me at least) was actually meeting some of the local lifestyle bloggers I read and follow. There is a common blogger bond that unites us and it’s almost like we know each other even before meeting one another. And in a way, we’re all trying to be our own little “Carries” by blogging about our own experiences, fashion, love lives, events and more.
