Love Affair with Nordstrom

I have a love affair with Nordstrom. Thanks to my mother and my hunt for the best bridal accessories, I came to realize how awesome this department store really is. Particularly the one at Village at Merrick Park in Coral Gables, although though are others in South Florida (see listing here).


I was with my girlfriend “Lo” the other day and we were both gushing over the fact that our best hidden secret is that we shop the junior’s department at Nordstrom and find sick deals on clothes, shoes and best of all accessories!

The whole entire store is awesome because I realize Nordstrom’s shoppers do all the dirty work for you… and by this I mean you’ll find all kinds of brands and price points at their department store, from Rampage to Marc Jacobs and Theory, but only unique trendy pieces have been selected for sale at the store – which is the best part because the selecting part has already been completed for you!

I recently visited the store during their sale a few weeks ago and bought a couple of items. By the time I made my way to the fitting room, the girl at the fitting room had already picked out accessories for me and pieced together different outfits based on the individual items I had given her.
