The other night the hubby and I went to Whole Foods on SoBe to take advantage of our Groupons and pick up some healthy snacks. As we made our way down the aisles, I couldn’t help but feel all giddy about buying wholesome, good, food! I love going there because although I will forever be a Publix girl, I love the special treats that a place like Whole Foods provide. Where else am I going to get raw macadamia nuts and pecan-crusted fresh farm chicken?
As we made our way to the check-out line, a WF cashier/chef asked if we wanted to try his latest milkshake invention which he had carefully crafted with just 4 simple ingredients. JG and I were both hungry and the shake looked delicious – and much to our satisfaction, it tasted just so!
It was so simple and yummy; I figured I would give it a shot at home.
Here’s the recipe for the Whole Foods – Chococado Shake!
Ingredients:
1 Avocado
32-40oz Unsweetened almond milk
10 -15 dates (can use date sugar as supplement)
½ cup of raw Cacao Powder
18oz ice
Blend, serve and enjoy!
